Personal growth and a sense of place are essential in the business climate. TMI provides opportunities to learn about the business, interact with co-workers, and become involved in management decisions. The TMI benefits package is available to every qualified full-time employee.

TMI recognizes the diversity in the health care needs of individuals and families and, as a result, offers employees two health plan options. Option one is a traditional Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) plan and is structured with a lower deductible and a coinsurance arrangement. Option two is a High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP) paired with a Health Savings Account (HSA). TMI contributes significantly to the employee portion of the premium cost for both plan options and employee HSA accounts. Optional dependent coverage is also available.

Group Long Term Disability TMI automatically enrolls employees with partial income protection if they become disabled from a covered accident or sickness.

Life Insurance: TMI provides a life insurance policy for eligible employees. Additional life insurance for employees and dependents is also available for purchase.

TMI offers Paid Time Off, which is used for vacation time, holidays, sick pay, health appointments, family events, funerals, and other personal needs. Employees will begin earning paid Time off immediately once employment begins. Paid Time Off is earned at designated rates that accelerate with the longevity of service. Employees can carry over up to 480 paid time off hours yearly.

Employee Stock Ownership Plan: TMI is employee-owned. Employees accumulate stock over their careers and share in the company’s value growth. Eligibility for participation in the plan is based on hours worked and length of service provisions set by the Plan Documents.

To help build retirement savings, TMI offers a 401K benefit. Each employee may elect to make salary reductions to direct some of their earnings into investments. TMI matches a portion of employee contributions.

Company Wellness Program: Physical fitness is part of our ability to perform as employees and function as individuals. TMI encourages participation in locally sponsored fitness centers, with membership discounts available.

Employee Assistance Program: TMI has a professional provider of counseling services for employees and families in marital or family distress, substance abuse, and financial or psychological counseling.
